The space will be inviting and comfortable and a place where everyone is welcome! Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 am - 11:00 am. KW Habilitation - 99 Ottawa St. S, KitchenerHave you been to The Hangout at Grant’s Café? The Hangout has been fostering a growing community since it opened on April 1, 2025. You can join us on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM. But it’s not just a Café, there is so much more than that going on! Let me tell you more about what you can expect.

Tuesday Mornings as you walk through the doors you will smell delicious Cob’s bread. If you bring some clean grocery bags, you can fill them up with for free thanks to Cob’s End of Day Giving Donations. We get other goodies too like scones, croissants, pizza bread, bagels and more. First come, first served. Take as much as you need, no questions asked.

Starting Thursday, July 3 we will have our Summer Market Days. You can come and see what local vendors have for sale. Or perhaps you have your own hand crafted items that you want to sell. Sign up for a free vendor spot at our market here. Summer Markets will be held every Thursday at The Hangout at Grant’s Café from July 2 to August 28.

Did you forget your wallet? Or maybe you are short on cash this week. No worries, just look to our new “Paid With Kindness” board to see if there is a drink or a treat ticket on there you can use at our café. Grant’s Café customers can pay it forward by purchasing a ticket of their choice to put on the board or by just saying “Keep the change”. We want everyone to be able to enjoy what The Hangout has to offer. Check out what the featured special menu item is. Drop us some feedback in our suggestion box. Come and write on our chalkboard wall, play some board games or enjoy our fun colouring pages. See you at The Hangout – Where Community Happens.
