It’s National Volunteer Week!  We are privileged to work with volunteers every single day at KW Habilitation as the Volunteer program has become an essential part of our organization.  During national volunteer week, we will be recognizing some of the volunteers who have helped us come together with our community to inspire abilities and enrich the lives of children, youth and families at KW Habilitation.  

Yewande

Yewande brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as a program assistant volunteer at The Vibe.

When asked why she volunteers, Yewande said:

I volunteer because I have too. Canada is giving me hope for the future of my daughter in a way my home country couldn’t. Giving and receiving can only be simultaneous.

My time at KW Hab grounds me, keeps things in focus,  and reminds me what are the important things in life. Love, joy and a lot of respect for humanity.
