Have you ever wondered what’s happening in your neighbourhood?
Your Neighbourhood Association is a great place to connect with and learn more about what is going on around you in your community. At KW Habilitation, Out and About Waterloo Region is all about connecting folks to their neighbourhood so we’re pleased to share that we’ll be posting regularly to share what’s happening in your neighbourhood. Our goal is to find the things that are important to you in your local community and help connect you to those.
All across Waterloo Region there are activities and opportunities for people to get involved in their community!
At Doon Pioneer Park, their fall programming includes opportunities to learn to knit a hat, scarf, or paint with acrylic paints. The Cherry Park community association will be hosting candidate meetings in advance of the upcoming municipal election and Westvale Community Association is hosting ongoing events through the fall.
