On Saturday, March 4th, 2023 from 10:00am to 4:00pm join Microboards Ontario for a day-long event focused on learning, creating meaningful interactions, and fostering a sense of community.
Microboards Ontario’s mission is to help families build a support network around children with disabilities by providing learning opportunities and resources to aid their circles of support. Learn more at this event on how microboards are providing individuals with disabilities the assistance and resources they need to live healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives.
At this event, Peter Marks founder of A Centre for Conscious Care will give some opening remarks and delve into the benefits of Conscious Care and Support (CSS). Then, community leader Carolyn Fast will jump into a discussion on circles of support and how support networks are crucial in helping families who are looking to establish their own microboard. Next, Brian Cutler a Certified Public Account will go over the financial considerations and management needed when considering a microboard. There will also be an update on Journey to Belonging from the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services that you will not want to miss! Finally, guests will have a chance to ask questions about microboards and learn from the expert panel.
Registration will be open until 12:00pm on March 3rd, 2023. Lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be included. Join Microboards Ontario at this educative event on March 4th and learn more about the unique benefits to Microboards!
