This week is National Volunteer Week!
All week, KW Hab will be sharing stories about a few of our amazing volunteers and we are sharing their stories because we are tremendously grateful for everything they do! Today, we’re pleased to share what we heard from Satish when we asked him about his experience volunteering at KW Hab.
‘Hi everyone! My name is Satish Mistry and I am the pharmacist/owner of Westmount Place Pharmacy & Home Health Care. I am proud to be a board member with KW Habilitation and have been volunteering with the organization since 2013. I started volunteering with KW Hab through the Behavioural Review Committee and my love for the organization grew from there. I wanted to be part of the KW Hab culture which is a very positive and progressive thinking thanks to Ann’s leadership and knew the Board would be the best way to contribute. I believe we should all volunteer within the community we live in. I find KW Hab a very fun organization to be a part of which makes it so much easier to volunteer for!’
Thank you, Satish, for the excellent leadership and support!
