On November 6, friends and supporters of KW Habilitation gathered at St. George Banquet Hall in Waterloo for an unforgettable evening of fine whisky, great food, and even better company. Our annual Scotch Tasting event was once again a huge success — filled with laughter, connection, and community spirit.

Guests enjoyed a new roaming format, moving through four unique Scotch stations while sampling curated bites along the way. The Guelph Pipe Band brought incredible energy as they played, and Adele Newton from CHYM FM guided the evening as our enthusiastic MC. With whisky expert Matt Howell sharing tasting notes and stories, the atmosphere buzzed with conversation and a touch of friendly debate over favourite drams.
Raising a Glass for a Great Cause
While the event was certainly fun, it also had an important purpose — raising funds for KW Habilitation’s affordable housing project at 878 Frederick Street, set to be finished and occupied in the spring. Construction is well underway, and the addition of the roof has made the building truly start to take shape. Every ticket, bid, and toast helped bring us one step closer to creating 18 new homes for people in our community.

Thank You to Our Sponsors and Guests
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who attended and supported this special night. Your enthusiasm and generosity mean so much to us.
We also want to extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, whose partnership made the event possible. Your support helps us build more than housing, it helps us build belonging. Here’s to community, connection, and a cause worth toasting. Cheers to another successful Scotch Tasting!
