Music Bingo works just like regular Bingo—except instead of numbers, you’ll be listening for your favourite tunes! We’ll play one-minute clips of popular songs from the 2000s across all genres. Match the songs on your card and see if you can call out BINGO. Enjoy snacks, refreshments, and plenty of laughs as you test your music knowledge and memory in a relaxed, social setting. This drop-in program takes place outdoors in our Naturespace, weather permitting. In case of rain, we’ll bring the fun inside the library. Grab your family or friends and join us for a fun night! The nature walk and workshop will begin at 2:00 PM sharp at the Hilltop Shelter Area in Waterloo Park and conclude at 4:00 PM at the same location. Participants will explore the park’s natural beauty, learn about local biodiversity, engage in hands-on eco-friendly activities, and participate in group discussions on sustainable living. Following the walk, light refreshments will be served at the Hilltop Shelter to encourage networking and continued conversation

Our latest addition is a state of the art gaming table! Dan (left) and Jenn (right) got to try it out at the Speed-Friending Pizza Party event that was at The Hangout. You can play games like Checkers, Whack-a-mole, Puzzles and more –  1 player, 2 player, 3 player or 4!

Don’t forget to pick up your free Cob’s Bread on Tuesdays or check out what fun events we have coming up. Pop by on a Thursday to see what freshly baked goods are on the menu. Our Summer Markets are in full swing every Thursday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM as well. Drop us some mail into our feedback box inside the cafe to let us know how we can continue to make The Hangout at Grant’s Cafe an even more awesome place!
