You can purchase tickets for $5 to see the Kitchener Rangers play Saginaw Spirit at 2:00 PM that day! All proceeds from ticket sales go to support Make-A-Wish Canada.

This year’s Downtown Paddle Palooza Pickleball Festival, in partnership with Four Fathers Brewing, is raising funds for the Every Kid Counts program, helping to make camp an option for every child and young person in Kitchener by providing inclusion support. Hit the courts and register your team of two for $50 or cheer from the sidelines while you enjoy some action-packed pickleball play! Join us on King Street for drop-in play on the free pickleball courts, plus there will be live music, food trucks, and local vendors! Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, Paddle Palooza offers friendly competition, great prizes, and high-energy vibes all day long!

KWLT 2025 Popcorn Plays Showcase

Expect a welcoming and inclusive environment to explore your body and expression through dance. Mattie is an experienced teacher who will prioritize your safety and comfort. They will lead a warmup and stretch followed by some dance drills to help learn some basic movements and techniques. Finally, Mattie will teach the participants a piece of choreography to music. Please note that the choreography will have multiple different intensity levels for participants to choose from in order to make it as accessible as possible.

The Lumen Festival is returning the evening of Saturday, September 20 to celebrate the work of artists that include light, art and technology throughout Uptown Waterloo. It is because of awesome people in the community that choose to volunteer their time and efforts that we are able to have so many fun free events like this one. The City of Waterloo is looking for people to sign up for a 3 hour shift helping with either setup and teardown before and after the festival, or handing out information or glow sticks and helping out during the festival.
