KW Habilitation is bound by the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive issued by Management Board of Cabinet effective April 1, 2011 and updated January 1, 2024. Accordingly, KW Habilitation adheres to the Ontario Broader Public Sector Supply Chain Code of Ethics as follows:

KW Habilitation is bound by the Broader Public Sector Expenses Directive issued by Management Board of Cabinet effective April 1, 2011 and updated January 1, 2024. Accordingly, KW Habilitation has established expense rules applicable to Board Members, employees, and consultants and contractors engaged by the organization. The expense rules apply to travel, meal and hospitality expenses.

The rules are based on the following four key principles:
Accountability
KW Habilitation is accountable for public funds used to reimburse travel, meal and hospitality expenses. All expenses support business objectives.
Transparency
KW Habilitation is transparent to all stakeholders. The rules for incurring and reimbursing travel, meal and hospitality expenses are clear, easily understood, and available to the public.
Value for Money
Taxpayer dollars are used prudently and responsibly. Plans for travel, meals, accommodation and hospitality are necessary and economical with due regard for health and safety.
Fairness
Legitimate authorized expenses incurred during the course of the business of KW Habilitation are reimbursed.

No eligible perquisites were approved or provided to any individuals in the organization, such as appointees, board members, or employees, in 2023-2024.
