You will learn about the different parts of wellness, explore fitness basics, discover fun types of exercise and workout routines, and learn how to make healthy food choices that support your goals. It’s all about finding simple, enjoyable ways to feel your best every day. Youth Exploring Possibilities (YEP) is for youth aged 13 to 25.

Euchre is a fun trick-taking card game with four players. Each player has a partner. There will be several rounds of Euchre with a random partner assigned each round. Come early at 6:30 PM to learn the basics of how to play. Your ticket includes a 12oz beer. Non-alcoholic options can be substituted. The winner gets a $20 TWB Brewing Gift Card!

Connections

A coffee cup and The Walking Bird Neighbour's Cafe logo.The Walking Bird Cafe wants to help you change, connect and grow your local community. It’s as simple as picking a day and time that you want to host your neighbours. Send your date and time in an email to [email protected] to book the cafe. After booking the cafe, they will drop off cards that you can fill out and put in mailboxes to invite your neighbours to your place for coffee.

There is something about a warm beverage that brings people together. Connecting with neighbours is important because it builds a stronger community through increased safety, a greater sense of belonging, and mutual support. The Walking Bird Cafe is supported by volunteers, generous donations and a Lovemyhood Matching grant from the City of Kitchener. Book a coffee day with your neighbours today!
