Hosted by the Stanley Park Community Association, BINGO Night is an event to be enjoyed by everyone. BINGO is a fun classic game that is easy to learn and a great reason to get out and socialize. While you’re there, check out their Community Garden or their free takeout program called “Stanley Park Eats”.
There are lots of neighbourhood and community associations in Kitchener and Waterloo just like the one in Stanley Park. These groups of volunteers make the community stronger in so many ways. Find one that’s near you and check out their website. There are plenty of ways to get involved!
Open Mic Poetry Night

Enter a judgement-free zone at the Waterloo Main Library for a special evening of fellowship and poetry. They are encouraging well-seasoned and first-time performers alike to share original pieces of writing. If you are not ready to perform, you can enjoy poetry nonetheless by being a supportive listener, that works too.
There are no right or wrong ways to write poetry. It can be long or short, rhyming, rhythmic or neither. The best part is, you can write about absolutely anything! Get creative or get your fingers ready to snap some applause. Either way, this will be a fun event you won’t want to miss. Light refreshments will be provided.
African Sunset Shadow Art
